Football (Soccer) Clinic
Introduction
This is the first step to introduce the Brazilian Philosophy through the BFUT methodology.
The Brazilian Educational Football (Soccer) Clinic is the first level at the BFUT Cycle of Education. The clinic is recommended to any team, club or high school interested in being introduced and in learning the Brazilian soccer philosophy. This program consists of 15 hours of education divided into two options:
Weekend (Friday to Sunday) or Week days (Monday to Thursday).
Our staff goes to your organization or club.
Recommended to all age groups (boys and girls)
We have six different options available in this program:
1. U8 (Development Department)
Recommended to coaches and parent coaches and to children 6 and 7 years old.
Objectives: Development of the Coordination without the ball – Coordination with the ball (technique), mental speed and introduction to positioning
Important: The Clinic coordinator will receive a free book of the Cycle 1 of the lessons plan program of the specific age group and the BFUT level 4 license Diploma and ID.
Clinic itinerary:
Day 1 – 3 hour – Player analyze
Day 2 and 3 or 2-4 : The BFUT educator will use the next 12 hours (Implementation of the next 7 lesson plans of the age group) to guide the team head coach about the application of BFUT curriculum.
Note: all the extra educators (coaches) registered in this program will receive the season lesson planning manual
2. U10 (Development Dept)
Recommended to coaches and parents coaches and to children 8 and 9 years old.

Objectives: Development of the Coordination without the ball – Coordination with the ball (technique), mental speed and positioning
Important: The Clinic coordinator will receive free book of the Cycle 1 of the lessons plan program of the specific age group and the diploma of BFUT level 4 license.
Clinic itinerary:
Day 1 – 3 hour – Player analyze
Day 2 and 3 or 2-4 : The BFUT educator will use the next 12 hours (Implementation of the next 7 lesson plans of the age group) to guide the team head coach about the application of BFUT curriculum

3. U12 (Development Dept)
Recommended to coaches and parent coaches and to children 10 and 11 years old.

Objectives: Development of the Coordination without the ball – Coordination with the ball (technique), mental speed and introduction to advanced positioning
Important: The Clinic coordinator will receive free book of the Cycle 1 of the lessons plan program of the specific age group and the diploma of BFUT level 4 license.
Clinic itinerary:
Day 1 – 3 hour – Player analyze
Day 2 and 3 or 2-4 : The BFUT educator will use the next 12 hours (Implementation of the next 7 lesson plans of the age group) to guide the team head coach about the application of BFUT curriculum

4. U13 and above (Competitive Dept)
Recommended to coaches and parent coaches and to children 12 years old and above. The application will be thro the BFUT software Made in Brazil – 4-3-3 / 4-4-2 and or 3-5-2 system. The head coach will define with the BFUT educator the best system after the player analyzes. Click (4) for a demonstration of the software
Objectives: The major goals to be accomplished in this program:
- Introduce the necessary concepts to plan a soccer season (cycle of 12 weeks).
- Analyze each player’s lower and global body coordination, technical skills and mental speed establishing the necessary procedures for group development.
- Learn to make necessary adjustments during the match (read the game).
- Develop the player’s conditioning abilities (psycho-motor system) – agility – coordination with the ball – fast reaction and agility.
- Application of the 4 phases of a technical ability- Phase I (introduction of the basic steps of the technique) – Phase II (application against static obstacles – technical circuit training) Phase III (applying in game situation) phase IV – (applying in a game condition)
- Implementation of the individual abilities (preparing a complete player).
- Types of pressure – Inside - outside
- Develop the concept of Building from the back defenders, midfields and forwards
- And much more
Important: The Clinic coordinator will receive: The BFUT license level 4 manual, Copy of the book ”The principles of Brazilian Soccer” by Thadeu Goncalves and the BFUT License level 4 Diploma.

- Sports Administration 2 hours – Game analyzes and Planning a season
- History and the evolution of the different philosophies of the Game – 1hour
- Physical conditioning Capacities– 3 hours – Elasticity – Coordination – Fast Reaction – Agility
- Technical Abilities – 4 hours – phases I,II ,III and IV of 3 techniques ( To be define after the player analyzes) – 12 techniques can be choose : Defensive:– Anticipation – Passing – Trapping –Receiving and Defensive Heading - Midfield : Ball control – Shooting – Long Crossing - Forward : Short crossing – Finishing – Fainting – Offensive Heading.
- Tactical Concepts – 4 hours – Mental Speed – Types of Penetration – Individual Abilities – Introduction of Building from the Back.
- Sports Psychology – 1 hour – Educator (Coach) personalities and objectives – Identify the different players personality.
The educators (coaches) participating in the program must take one hour theory evaluation
5. The 7 x 7 Clinic: U13 and above (Competitive Dept)
Recommended to coaches and parent coaches and to children 12 years old and above.
Objectives: The major goals to be accomplished in this program:
- Introduce the necessary concepts to plan a soccer season (cycle of 12 weeks).
- Analyze each player’s lower and global body coordination, technical skills and mental speed establishing the necessary procedures for group development.

The educators (coaches) participating in the program must take one hour theory evaluation and be approved with 75% to receive the diploma.
6. Futsal Clinic: (Competitive Dept)
Recommended to coaches and parent coaches and to children 12 years old and above.
Promote and educating the game of FUTSAL. This game is one of the key of the success of Brazilian Football. The continuing movement of the players, development of both feet, understanding how protect the ball with the body, learn how mark and attack with consistency. The hard floor and the heavy ball consistently establish a very quick game, developing the mental speed and the fast reaction under pressure.
Objectives: The major goals to be accomplished in this program:
Introduce the necessary concepts to plan a soccer season for Futsal (cycle of 12 weeks).
- Analyze each player’s lower and global body coordination, technical skills and mental speed establishing the necessary procedures for group development.
- Learn to make necessary adjustments during the match (read the game).
- Develop the player’s fundamental conditioning abilities for futsal (psycho-motor system) – agility – coordination with the ball – fast reaction – anaerobic capacity
- Application of the 4 phases of a technical ability- Phase I (introduction of the basic steps of the technique) – Phase II (application against static obstacles – technical circuit training) Phase III (applying in game situation) phase IV – (applying in a game condition)
- Implementation of the individual abilities (preparing a complete player).
- Types of pressure – Inside - outside
- Develop the concept of building from the back in a 2-2 / 3-1 system
Important: The Clinic coordinator will receive: The BFUT license level 4 manual for Futsal , Copy of the book ”The principles of Brazilian Soccer” by Thadeu Goncalves and the BFUT License level 4 Diploma.

IV- Technical Abilities – 4 hours – phases I, II , III and IV of 3 techniques ( To be define after the player analyzes) – 10 techniques can be choose : Defensive:– Anticipation – Passing – Trapping –Receiving and Defensive Heading - Midfield : Ball control – Shooting – - Forward : Short crossing – Finishing – Fainting
V-Tactical Concepts – 4 hours – Mental Speed – Types of Penetration – Individual Abilities – Introduction of Building from the Back in the 2-2 and 1-3 systems
VI -Sports Psychology – 1 hour – Educator (Coach) personalities and goals – Identify the different of players personality
The educators (coaches) participating in the program must take one hour theory evaluation.

Information and Costs
Clinic Coordinator’s Responsibilities
- A minimum of 2 groups 24 players per clinic
- 08 Educators (coaches)
- Quality facilities at the team’s location
- Room and board for BFUT’s coaching staff
- Daily transportation at the designated location
- Providing the necessary equipment (balls, flags, ropes, cones, vests, first aid kit, and water cooler)
- Local marketing for potential players, parents and coaches.
BFUT’s Responsibilities
- Top quality educators – BFUT level 1 or level 2 educators
- BFUT is responsible to provide transportation in and out to the location.
- Provide the team / club with the handbook of the program developed during the Brazilian soccer clinic, allowing the team coach (educator) to reapply the concepts during the season pos clinic.
Cost of the BFUT Brazilian Soccer Clinic:
$135.00 per player, when held by BFUT's coaching director, Thadeu Goncalves
$95 per player or $100 per Educator, when held by BFUT's level 1 license Coaching Staff.
