Competitive club's Mission
The Mission of the Competitive Club Department is to introduce players and parents to a supplementary educational approach aimed at developing players’ game intelligence, which we refer to as ‘mental speed.’ Mental speed is the player’s ability to make decisions before receiving the ball. Unlike traditional coaching methods, our approach focuses on education rather than direct coaching. While coaches often draw from their own experiences and rely on drills, our educators aim to explain the ‘why,’ ‘how,’ and ‘what’ behind the best decisions available to players before they receive the ball.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Competitive Club Program educates boys ages 8 (2016) to 13 (2011) years old. The program is supported by BFUT Institute and educated by the College of Soccer a (Non-profit organization) implementing their methodology at BFUT Soccer Academy for development of players.
The program focuses on quick, key decision-making of each player prior to ball reception (mental perceptiveness or speed). This approach aims to make players unpredictable, reduce risk of injuries and prepare them for playing at a high level.

Sports Nutrition- health and balanced nutrition for athletes
Sports Medicine – Prevention of injury
Sports Sociology- Create an environment where we promote friendships, confidence in a team unit and positive leadership. Always respecting the cultural factors of each child.
Sports Psychology – Understanding the personality of educators(coaches) and players to build self-esteem, confidence and leadership. Learn how deal with challenges and frustration, discipline and team unity
Sports Physiology- Development of the 10 most important physical capacities for each age-related group – elasticity, coordination, agility, fast reaction, jumping, aerobic resistance, muscle resistance, speed, power, potency
Technical abilities – Learn the 4 phases – introduction to each technique, apply the steps against static obstacles (technical circuit training), apply against a real defender and apply in a game condition. 12 techniques -passing, trapping, receiving, dribbling, shooting, defensive and offensive heading, short crossing, long crossing, fainting, anticipation, and finishing.
Tactical Concepts – Tactical systems, schemes and strategies (dead balls) building on from recreation U10 -7v7, U12 – 9v9, U14 -11v11 for U14
History of the game – Influential Countries, clubs, players and competitions. Players will learn how to read the game
The School Club Offers 3 Age Groups: Boys program
Group 1 – U10 – 8 & 9 years old – 2015/2016 – 20 players – play 7v7
Group 2 – U12 – 10&11 years old – 2013/2014 – 20 players – play 9v9
Group 3 – U14 – 12&13 years old – 2011/2012 – 20 players – play 11v11
Total players = 60

Cost
Total Annual Cost -$1950 plus Uniform $200 (2 sets for games and 1 set for training)
BFUT Soccer Academy is registered under the US Club Soccer. The teams will play in Florida League, EDP league or South Florida League, age and level dependent. This includes 3 local tournaments 1st year and participate in 4 tournaments related to the level of competition of each team.
The registration and communication among the Club will be done through the Playmetrics Platform

The dream started in 1979, after a short player carrier with the pro club Paulista FC in Sao Paulo – Brazil. As any teen around the world my dream was to play for the Olympic team of Brazil. I never had the opportunity to be educationally guided to this dream. The dream to become a player was replaced by becoming the best youth educator of the game. As an educator, I could provide the correct guidance to any child I could reach, and be able to explain the why, when and how of each concept of this beautiful game.
