The High-Performance Department is responsible for the last step of the player development in our methodology. Players will be focus in their pro path or college scholarship opportunity. The project will have 26 players from ages 16 (2008) to 20 (2004). The program is supported by BFUT Institute and educated by the College of Soccer a (Non-profit organization) implementing their methodology at BFUT Soccer Academy. The program focuses on quick, key decision-making of each player prior to ball reception (mental perceptiveness or speed). This approach aims to make players unpredictable, reduce risk of injuries and prepare them for playing at a high level. The other important objective of the High-performance dept. is provided to young players – 2010 and 2009 the opportunity to train with older, faster and more aggressive on the ball players. It will help to develop the intensity of the game, adjust to high pressure situations and the most important: The maturity to play confident, and patient when the players returned to play in their age group.

I have a dream. Promote and educate PEACE. A new ERA for BFUT has begun. It is time to have the world wide language of Football speak strongly around any place in this beautiful world.
The dream started in 1979, after a short player carrier with the pro club Paulista FC in Sao Paulo – Brazil. As any teen around the world my dream was to play for the Olympic team of Brazil. I never had the opportunity to be educationally guided to this dream. The dream to become a player was replaced by becoming the best youth educator of the game. As an educator, I could provide the correct guidance to any child I could reach, and be able to explain the why, when and how of each concept of this beautiful game.

There is no great mystery to understanding the Brazilian style of soccer. It is a combination of quickness in their touch and the ability to play without the ball, using the open spaces well. It can be readily taught, but it is vital to approach the learning process as a cycle of education with progressive challenges as skills increase.
Why should coaches plan their football season? Every soccer organization from the youth level to the pro-level should develop proper planning skills in order to facilitate constant player and team evaluation and to organize the areas of training that need to be done.
The game of football has 3 different dimensions to be analyzed when preparing high quality athletes: 1. The ball – 2. The pressure on the ball and 3.the player that is receiving or trapping the ball. The following program should be performed before practice as part of general/specific warm-up. The exercises are done while running at a slow to moderate pace to the commands of a coach. The coach leads the exercises in quick succession and the athletes are always in motion.
Receiving is the technique to adjusting the body coordination to the 4 heights that the ball can arrive, applying the use of the arms to protect against pressure, always trying to bring the ball to the ground increasing the speed of the game. Receiving the ball means redirecting it in one touch (applying for low, medium low and high balls).
Let´s contrast four different schools of play: Europeans – England, Spain, Germany, and France (it is very important we mentioned the tactical influence that Holland had during the 70th and 80th with introduction of Compactness and double man marking); South American – Brazil (it is very important we understand the importance of Argentina and Uruguay in help the Tactical development in South America).
Nutrition is the educational area that study of food and how our bodies use it as fuel for growth and daily activities. The nutrients are divided in macronutrients, including proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. The micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals that we need to be healthy.
In this initial approach to the Sports Medicine, our biggest concern is related to prevent injuries and immediate treatment when the injuries happen during the games.
In this educational area we will discuss the importance of understanding the psychological factors that could interfere between yourself and your players, and relay the appropriate approach in all the different phases of coach -player relationship in preparation for high performance in any level of competition, under any level of pressure and in any environment.
