WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO LEARN

In the Level 3 Course introduce 7 out of the 9 different educational areas of the gameSports Management I, Sports Medicine I, Sports Nutrition I, Sports Psychology I, Sports Physiology I and II, Technical Abilities and its 4 Phases I to VI, and Tactical Concepts I to VIAfter the conclusion of the Level 3, Level 2 course will be the next step – It will include the education areas of History of the game and Sports Sociology, besides the continuing of the 7 areas already introduced in the Level 3.

In this educational area, we will be covering the importance of learning how to do a session planning and the distribution of the contents in a progressive way. As you progress to level 2 you will be exposed to the weekly, monthly, and yearly planning. From the warmup with or without the ball to the final game condition, all the concepts should be integrated to facilitate the understanding of the players and verify the application of them in the next game. Independently of how many sessions your club will have on a weekly basis, it is important to follow the standard sample: In our methodology we divide the sessions in 5 parts – Sessions duration can go from 90 to 120 minutes

  • Part 1 – Warm – up
  • Part 2 – Could be physical or technical
  • Part 3 – Could be technical, tactical or functional training
  • Part 4– Could be tactical- systems and game condition
  • Part 5– Sports Psychology / Sociology or Physical complement

We will be using a sample with a technical session – Shooting

In this educational area we will be focusing in the 4 most important physical capacities when you start to prepare your athletes.

Sports Physiology I

We will be focusing in the development of the Body coordination- It is subdivided in Global coordination- combine upper body movements with the correct pace of the lower body. The game of soccer is composed of three dimensions- ball, defender (pressure) and the player receiving the ball. It is a pretty complex sport. The player will never be able to control the ball if he/she is not able to control their body. Learn how protect it against the pressure with the correct upper body coordination is extremely important. The second most important physical capacity in Sport Physiology it is the development of elasticity (stretching) of the upper and lower body muscles. A good elasticity program avoids injuries, and diseases such as Osgood – Schlatter. It helps improve the execution of technical abilities and performance of the physical capacities.

Sports Physiology II

We will be covering the importance of developing the agility (capacity to change direction) with and without the ball, as well as the importance of implementing the physical circuit training. Also, we will go over the physical capacity of Fast Reaction. Fast reaction involves how quick the player can execute the 4 necessary steps from receiving, balancing the body, redirecting the ball and executing the decision.

In this educational area we will explain and demonstrate ways to develop high technical level players. Brazilian players are recognized by their high technical level, representing the top clubs around the world, and the capacity to always have number of options around the player with the ball.

In the level 3 course you will be exposed to the development of the 12 techniques and the 4 phases of development for each one of them. The 4 phases are:

Phase 1 – Implementation of the basic steps – combination of the intellectual understanding of the basic steps with the body coordination to execute each one of them. You will be able to identify in which step the player is not having the correct execution and make the necessary adjustments. They will develop the automatic condition to perform them without have to think (automatization of the movement). Each technique will have a certain number of basic steps.

Phase 2 – we will bring the execution of the technique against static obstacles – we use the technical circuit training – player will learn to apply the basic steps with the ball against static obstacles. It will help them to mentalize better the movements and improve their confidence to apply versus a real defender (phase 3).

Phase 3 – Game situation – application of the technical development against real pressure – Go from 1v1 to 5v5

Phase 4  Game condition – application of the technique in conditions related to the game 6 v5 to 11v11

These are the technical abilities divided by concepts:

I. Passing – Receiving and Trapping – application in different heights

II. Shooting

III. Anticipation, Dribbling and Feinting

IV. Offensive / Defensive Heading

V. Short Crossing with finishing low and medium low balls

VI. Long Crossing with Medium high and high balls(heading) finishing

You will be able to develop each one of the technical abilities step by step and adjust to the necessary exercises to increase the players creativity and learn how be unpredictable.

This is one the most important educational areas in our methodology. Players must know how play without the ball. In this educational area we will be showing how we can get the team to be organized defensively and unpredictable offensively.

We will be covering the 6 introductory concepts that must be implemented progressively in the team build up.

Tactical Concepts I – We will describe the most influential schools worldwide. How they establish their philosophical way to play. The comparison between Germany, French, Spain and England (very influential in North America) and the South American Brazil with references to the Argentinian Soccer.

Tactical Concepts II – Understanding the important factors of the Brazilian Philosophy

Tactical Concepts III – You will learn how develop the Mental Speed of your players. It is one of the most important tactical concepts to be taught to your players. It is the capacity of the player to make the best decision available before receiving the ball.

Tactical Concepts IV – Development of the individual tactics – 1v1 – understanding the offensive and defensive functions of the 1st attacker and the 1st defender. It is one of the six situations to score or defend a goal.

Tactical Concepts V – Understanding the application of the mental speed in group tactics – 2v1 and 2v2 – development of the concept of tactical combinations – Another situation to score a goal.

Tactical Concepts VI Introduction of the concept of compactness – The tactical organization of the team identifying the lines of players moving back and forward on the three 1/3 of the field- Defensive – Midfield and Attack. We will be using the system 4-4-2 in diamond

The course will show the basic factors for a balanced nutrition to provide a normal grow and maintain the regular activities, especially for youth players.

Also, it will go over a brief explanation of the Healthy Eating Plate and the importance of the correct hydration.

In this educational area we will focus on preventing injuries, and making recommendations for the immediate simple treatment of injuries. Important concepts to be covered:

  1. Importance of the players elasticity: upper and lower body important group of muscles to be stretching
  2. Keep a good and balanced nutrition
  3. The basic procedures when a player gets hurt – The R.I.C.E. treatment (R- Rest, I – Ice, C- Compression, E- Elevations)

The course will bring the importance of understanding the factors that could interfere between you and your players. Two important factors will be covered in this educational area:

1. The coaches’ personality

  • The Commando Coach
  • The Submissive Coach
  • The Cooperative Coach

2. Establishing the goals to be achieved with by your team

THADEU GONÇALVES

I have a dream. Promote and educate PEACE. A new ERA for BFUT has begun. It is time to have the world wide language of Football speak strongly around any place in this beautiful world.

The dream started in 1979, after a short player carrier with the pro club Paulista FC in Sao Paulo – Brazil. As any teen around the world my dream was to play for the Olympic team of Brazil. I never had the opportunity to be educationally guided to this dream. The dream to become a player was replaced by becoming the best youth educator of the game. As an educator, I could provide the correct guidance to any child I could reach, and be able to explain the why, when and how of each concept of this beautiful game.
